To keep your mimic looking lovely and to keep its shape, it is highly suggested that you do not soak the mimic or place it in direct sunlight for extended periods of time. If the mimic does become soaked, leave to air dry in a warm space and re-wax with a leather conditioner once dry (Whimsy suggest either Aussie Leather Conditioner or Dr. Johnsons Waterproof Wax).
